2026 Beautification Awards Info
The San Luis Obispo Chapter of CLCA invites you to participate in our annual 2026 Landscape Beautification Awards. Projects will be judged on the quality of workmanship and skill by landscaping experts from outside of our chapter area or retired local experts. The judges will pay close attention to details that make the installation or maintenance projects superb instead of average.
NEW THIS YEAR: We’re excited to be rolling out a combined Chapter Beautification Award and State Trophy Award entry form! This new form makes things easier by letting you use the same paperwork you submit at the local level to also enter the State Trophy Awards. No need to fill everything out twice. Also, to make submissions easier, entrants can upload their completed entry form, project photos, and supporting materials directly through our Google submission form.
Entry fee is $150/entry. First-time entrants will receive one (1) entry for free. All entries are due by June 5. Judging is slated for June 12-13, 2026.
Awards will be presented at an awards banquet on July 17 at the JUSTIN and J. LOHR Center for Wine and Viticulture's Swanson Center of Effort Conference Hall at Cal Poly SLO. The event is “business casual” attire. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a cocktail reception, then dinner to follow. We will culminate the evening with an exciting multi-media presentation of all entries, and of course, the presentation of the landscape beautification awards.
