The California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) is a professional trade organization supporting licensed landscape contractors and green industry professionals throughout California.
About the Beautification Awards
The CLCA San Luis Obispo Beautification Awards recognize outstanding landscape construction, maintenance, and design projects completed by local contractors. The program celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and professionalism while helping contractors showcase their best work to clients, peers, and the community. First-time entrants and companies of all sizes are encouraged to participate.

Eligibility
The Beautification Awards are open to CLCA member contractors.
Joining CLCA gives you access to a statewide network of landscape professionals, educational resources, industry advocacy, member programs (like the Beautification Awards) and local chapter events.

Competition Details - Entries Due June 5, 2026.
Entry fee is $150 per entry. CLCA member companies entering the awards for the first time receive one free entry. All entries are due by June 5. Judging is set for June 12-13, 2026.
Projects are evaluated by landscaping professionals from outside our chapter area and retired local experts. Judging focuses on craftsmanship, quality of workmanship, and attention to detail.
NEW THIS YEAR: We’ve introduced a combined Chapter Beautification Award and State Trophy Award entry form. Submit once locally and use the same paperwork for State Trophy Award consideration — no duplicate forms required.

Entrants can email us their entries or upload forms, project photos, and supporting materials through our online Google submission form.
Awards Banquet - July 17, 2026.
Awards will be presented at an awards banquet on July 17 at the JUSTIN and J. LOHR Center for Wine and Viticulture's Swanson Center of Effort Conference Hall at Cal Poly SLO. The event is “business casual” attire. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a cocktail reception, then dinner to follow. We will culminate the evening with an exciting multi-media presentation of all entries, and of course, the presentation of the landscape beautification awards.
